In imagining an object functional to the gesture of grasping a lever to trigger an action and transform space - open or close it - Franco Albini and Franca Helg design a handle with the lightness of a bird's wing or the profile of a flower , taking an expressive direction of restrained organicity. His design reflects the passionate search for a point of balance between something and its opposite: between sensuality and geometric linearity, between solidity and lightness, between graphic accuracy of the sign and volumetric consistency of the material.
