Door handle OLIVARI Cono M265
In the mid-1950s, the fruitful professional relationship between Ernesto Olivari and Gio Ponti led to the development of three models of handles: Lama, Cono and Ring. If for the most famous of Ponti's buildings, the Pirelli skyscraper (1952-1961), Lama was chosen – made of aluminum similarly to other components of the building – the Cono handle was used for the spectacular Villa Planchart (1953-1957) in Caracas, Venezuela.
